Show Overview
Your teenage years are hard enough without learning that you
are the slayer, the one person that holds back the tide of evil
from taking over the Earth. So when young hottie Buffy Summers
was given the news she was not best pleased. After burning down
the gym at her school, she and her mum Joyce, now divorced from
Buffy's father move to the one Starbucks town of Sunnydale to
start a new life.
However this new life plan isn't going to well as she is
soon greeted by the school librarian Giles who says he has
been expecting her and has been assigned as her watcher. And
not to mention vampire love interests with the dark and mysterious
Angel.
Luckily she has her friends to help out too - Willow the
nerdy computer hacker later to turn Wiccan, Xander who is
never short of a snappy comment and Cordelia the beauty queen
and general all round rich girl. Other characters to later
join the show include Anya, Xander's girlfriend, Dawn, Buffy's
sister, Oz, Willow's boyfriend, Tara, Willow's girlfriend
and Faith the second one and only slayer.
Sunnydale, the town where they all live happens to be on
a Hellmouth, a centre for demon activity. And there is plenty
including the legendary vampires Spike and Drucilia. |
